🎉 The Second Marching Cities Activist Camp is Behind Us! 🎉
From August 19–23, in the picturesque village of Załakowo, we held the second-ever Marching Cities Activist Camp – dedicated to those just beginning their journey into activism, as well as those wanting to deepen their skills and become even more effective in their work.
Â
Over five intensive days, nearly 50 participants from across Poland immersed themselves in a world of knowledge, inspiration, and practical tools. Among the trainers and facilitators were experienced activists, experts, journalists, and educators including Piotr Moszczeński, Krzysztof Żukowski, Maciej Przybylski, Wiktoria Barańska, Julia Maciocha, Bart Staszewski, Misia Joachim, Agnieszka Chomiuk, Marta Kosińska, Barbara Borowiak, Julian Czurko, Marianna Palider, Piotr Jankowski – and many other amazing individuals.
The program featured dozens of workshops, lectures, panels, and discussions – covering everything from the basics of organizing Pride marches and leadership, to storytelling, communication, grant writing, collaboration with local governments, advanced social dialogue facilitation, and burnout prevention. Important topics like accessibility, intersectionality, and working with artists were also part of the agenda.

🌳🌊 And in between: lakes, forests, shared swims, a visit to the museum in Lębork, and countless late-night conversations – all in an atmosphere of trust, care, and mutual inspiration.
💡 The camp was made possible thanks to the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Poland and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark – thank you for believing in us and supporting the growth of local activism!
Huge thanks to everyone who joined us – for your energy, commitment, and heart. We believe this is just the beginning of many beautiful things that will grow out of this camp!
