Equality Province as an informal organization was established in 2015. Initially, it integrated the LGBT community of Kielce and Świętokrzyskie province.

Over time, it began to expand its activities by providing materials, press or books on LGBTQIA issues and then getting involved and organizing trainings, workshops including psychological assistance. The organization admonishes and fights for equal rights and non-discrimination. It culminated in the organization of the 1st Equality March in Kielce.

Since 2019, the organization has been formalized and operates as an Association.
